I’m not a fan of the label Special Needs. Why you ask? Because it’s kinda like judging a book by it’s cover, thinking you already know the story line of the book. Sometimes the cover can be misleading and it doesn’t do the story line justice. I’m a guy with Cerebral Palsy and I really don’t need a Politically Correct label placed on my life. Sure I have had many challenges throughout my life and I’m grateful for each one of them. I’m also grateful for each helping hand that has touched my life. I find the label Special Needs degrading, so when you describe Rob, He’s a guy with Cerebral Palsy… Please no Political Correctness is needed to describe me.
